8A #313

Owned by Howard Jeanes

Howard saved this 8A from a scrap bin.  It was probably shipped to England during World War II as part of the Lend-Lease agreement.  The original bench and drive system are missing, but it retains most of it's original tooling and equipment.

The headstock cone pulley has been turned to accept a vee belt drive.

The lathe still has it's original face plate, collets, dog plate, steady rest, follow rest, threading stop, and taper attachment..
